VERY BAD DAY AT TOYOTA/BT

HOT OF THE PRESS... JOB LOSSES JUST ANNOUNCED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE WHOLE OF THE COMPANY.MEETING WAS CALLED TODAY TO ANNOUNCE REDUNDANCIES.WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT? BUT NOT TOO SURPRISING AS COSTS MUST BE HORRENDOUS.LOOKS LIKE THE INTEGRATION TRUMPETED BY THE TOP BRASS IN 2007 HAS BEEN A BAD MOVE.

Unfortunately unlike the last 3 resessions where the indians were not impacted very much this time round with the dramatic fall off in new orders and casual hire the work for the Indians is disappearing at an alarming rate so they are being hit much harder and at a faster rate.
