I have a Nissan 50 mcp1f2a25lv, the vaporizer is heating up like crazy and it boggles down. Temp gauge stays normal and doesn't show overheating signs. Shouldn't this part be cool go the touch? Has new coolant, and bleed the coolant to release any trapped air but the vaporizer still heats up. Any suggestions?

As long as the engine is not overheating there should be no problem some times there is a thermostat were the inlet to the water hose goes to the vaporizer to keep the temp lower than the engine temp they believe it might stop tar build up but most manufacturer do not use it sometimes Nissan and cat had it on the truck.
Ok gotcha, I was wondering if it was normal because in my other unit the vaporizer is normal to the touch and not extremely hot.
The vaporizers should be hot the water from the engine passes through the vaporizer it will be almost as hot as the temp of the engine that is how it changes the gas from liquid to vapor if it did not get hot the vaporizer would freeze up and the engine would shut down in around 10 minutes of running. Hope l was of help.
