Crown WP2300 SERIES:
travel contactor

pallet jack will travel f and r ,but as soon as the pump contactor pulls in the line contactor is thrown out and the key has to be cycled for travel again. contactor tips are in good condition.i have the manual for this pallet jack but it is not much help. sem drive motor on this jack. any suggestions would be appreciated.

check the hydraulic motor for an earth fault not had the problem on a crown yet but had plenty on jungheinrich's acting like this normaly find an earth fault on the hyd motor remove it strip and clean it out and the truck works fine again

i went to the customers location this morning the batteries had grease on the terminals ,lots of grease and there was 22 volts measured across the top of the batteries. after cleaning and flushing the battery compartment the case voltage dropped to.224 volts.the pallet jack seems to run normal at this point.i sincerely appreciate the help. it always pays to use the kiss system first.

I agree, it sounds like a bad battery or voltage drop in a bad connection or fuse.

i did notice when taking a voltage reading at the pump about 21 volts when activated. the pallet jack is a24 volt system.
