Any info on best way to strip out transmission

I would have had the engine out without thinking
Looks to be a fault on wiring so hopefully an easy fix compared to tranny repair

Remove pedals cross shaft, hoses and wire harness. disconnect remove drive shaft, unbolt torque converter flex plate/ring gear through starter hole or inspection hole on top of transmission.
Support engine rear and unbolt bell housing. trans will move forward enough to clear housing dowels and out it comes.
