Transmission Problems

This is a older 80's yale forklift we were running the it with no problems parked it for the night and came in the next day and it wont move, not shifting into any gears my guys said the oil was low but would that take out all the gears at once. any help would be nice.

You might check the inching, valve if filling up with oil doesn't work.
It might be stuck or have a broken return spring.

No bubbles at the end of the dip stick. I'll check the screen to see what it looks like. Do you know what type of fluid this trans takes

From what I have collected the low oil would not allow enough pressure to close the clutch packs completely. Is there bubbles on the end of the dip stick? There is a plug with a screen that if clogged would cause the bypass valve to stay open and no movement. Worst case Ontario I would grab some of that Lucas tranny rebuild oil and see if that works
