Discussion:
trans shifting problem

Hello, I'm hoping that someone has the info that I need. I have a taylor thd 250 m that has a shifting problem. It use to shift 132, and now it shifts 133 and dosen't get second gear. I checked the column shift lever and swapped out the relays, checked for broken wires. I am not having any luck. It goes forward and reverse, just won,t shift into second gear. Hope anyone can offer some light on this. Thank You.

Do you have the bypass box (manual shifting switches)? The machine should have one with it. If so try that and see if it shifts properly, if it shifts properly with controller bypassed check trans speed sensors, should generate ac voltage, if good bad controller. This assumes your machine has the same powertrain as a THDH350
