Trans fliud gertting in the Hyd fluid

Please share some info if ya'll know about this.

Working on a Clark GPX25E GPX230E-0107-9233. Trans fluid is ending up in the Hyd fluid tank and causing it to over flow. My thoughts are the Hyd pump, trans fluid is by passing the shaft seal of the Hyd pump and into the Hyd fluid.

So I replaced the Suction hose from the tank to the pump to remove any obstructions. Also replaced fluids and filters.

Still happening.

My thoughts now are that the transmission pump is over pressurizing the Hyd pump mounting area somehow. Blockage in a port?

Has this happened to anyone. Please help if you have any info.

what about a transmission case vent?
some have them
if the vent gets clogged up it can allow the transmission to build up pressure which might explain why the fluid is getting pushed into the hydraulic system.

Generally by design seals are designed to keep fluid inside their contained systems not the other way around even though the dust lip on the seal may help prevent any dirt from entering in from the outside liquid tends to go where it wants to. So this in theory could be what is happening.

Have you ever pulled the dipstick out of the transmission and had it release pressure? Or have it keep blowing the dipstick out? Or if it has a capscrew plug with a filter element inside it release pressure when you removed it?

check for a transmission vent either on top of the case around the control valve area or on one of the axle tubes and even possibly inside the dipstick cap/****. I'm betting its on top of the trans case though.

Not familiar with your exact unit but I would assume that the trans is losing fluid in direct proportion to hyd system gaining fluid?

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
