First off there are two speed sensors one is the TISS the other is the TOSS. The TISS has 3 wires, the TOSS has 4. Either one can cause this problem. You need a service level password to get into the dash setup.
I have the same thing happen I checked wiering. All good got new sensor still doing the same thing. Barely moves and forwards. Moves in reverse but flashes on and off. How do you calibrate it.
there should be a fault code on the dash or will say trans braking, this is on the VX models only..
Have a Yale glc050 that is doing same thing. Did TOSS sensor fix problem?
you have a bad TOSS sensor on transmission. It sits or right side of top of trans, Its a 4 wire connector. check for loose connection, if ok, replace Toss sensor. once you do that ,calibrate transmission and you should be ok.
Do you have the optional Duramatch (the Hyster name) trans which automatically decelerates the lift when you take your foot off the gas?
