Hi, Our E16 is playing up. It some times stops in awkward places. This morning it would not move. Everything else works, lights on and its possible to move every thing with no dip in brightness of lights, so power available.
One man sat on it and it moved. He switched off and allowed second man on but it did not move so first man sat on it again and it moved. Without switching off the second man sat on it and it moved. men changed over and it would not move. It can only be pedal, motion select or weight sensor ! Any other ideas please.

There is a potentiometer and gear that do get worn out, also if you lift up the rubber mat there should be some recessed bolts make sure that they are tightened
The numbers I have found are as follows
Model E16-02 Year 2005
Serial No H2X335S01585
Hope this helps
Hi there, Thanks for your reply, however regarding part of it "--the full era I'll number--" I do not understand the terms. I know that these trucks have been around for quite a while, but I have not been really involved with them. Its only now that this truck is here that I have had to become interested. Where do I find these numbers, please?
At a minimum we need the full era I'll number thes trucks have been around a while now
Thank you for the response. I hate to show my ignorance of these FL's but I do not see any display. See post a couple of hours ago. about the way it operates
We need the full serial number of the truck and it is showing any error codes on the display??
Thanks but they are working ok. I can get it to move in both directions, every time, by putting my foot slowly onto the "throttle/move" pedal. I start very slowly and it moves slowly,as one might expect. If I put foot harder down on the pedal the FL starts to increase in speed and then if i take foot off quickly and back on again the drive has "tripped out" and FL stops. I switch off and back on again and can repeat numerous times. I do not want to move too far because if it is something that stops me in a difficult place the whole firms operation will cease. This indicates to me that it is something to do with the rate of change of input to a drive module. I am told there is a potentiometer connected to the pedal. There are 4 leads coming from the unit under the floor that the pedal operates. There will be two ends to the potentiometer and usually one that varies as the pedal moves making three however there is another fourth connection. Any info on this please,
From Admin... an anonymous reader posted "Change the seat switch Or adjust the seat to the correct weight setting"..perhaps that may help.
