Discussion:
Toyota 7FBEU20 has no hydraulic functions (Mini Levers)

Have a 7FBEU20, 11201 with no hydraulic functions.
Truck drives and steers ok.
Showing H9-2 key on. More hydraulic function codes come on when any of the levers are pushed. (hydraulic pump motor on)
The unload valve had been changed and has continuity.
But still the same thing.
Any suggestions?

Just changed a new sensor bearing for pump motor. Guess what happen.
The main CPU board burnt a few spots (visible, big) when moved one of the hydraulic mini levers.
The board is going to burnt again if I put a new one on ?
It cost 1000s $$$.

yeah....what he said.
highest probability is a bad sensor. it's very easy to replace and not really all that expensive (for a Toyota part)
do you have a book?

If the pump bearing is sending a bad signal than the pump motor can heat up. The motor may be going so slow that it will not function hydraulics properly but have enough to steer the truck. I just had a bad bearing and but the hydraulics still worked, motor was getting hot quickly.

thanks rick for the suggestion, but it is the pump motor getting hot and doesn't ramp up.
do you think a bad pump motor ball sensor bearing cause the no hydraulics problem?

if you are getting codes when you move the levers the problem probably isn't in the motor. however if the motor is very hot and very slow you are probably right about the sensor. you can check it in the analyzer mode, there will be two variables. one is actual speed the other is speed requested. if they are not close swap the controllers. the one on the right side sitting on the truck is the pump. if the speed numbers are still not close replace the sensor

does the lift / steering motor ramp up when you move the levers? is the lift motor hot? does the lever movement show on the diagnostic display?

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
