Discussion:
TLT30 maintenance schedule

We have a TLT30 that clocks about 125 hours per year. We have an annual thorough inspection done for us but do not know the maintenance interval for such a low usage machine (I understand it is 500 hours). What is the official manufacturer's recommendation so I can be safe and keep costs down but every four years does not look right!

Service Maintenance Intervals are listed in the Operators Handbook.

Service Maintenance should take place when either certain hours are reached or a time scale has passed.
At 500 hrs or 6 months
At 1000 hrs or 1 year

etc.

hope this helps

Most manufactures set a time as a safety net for this. Something like, 500 hours or every 3 months whatever comes the soonest for example. Contact JCB and they will tell you the maximum time period you should allow between services.
