Toyota 7FGCU25:
Engine swapability?

We recently acquired a good 4Y (with TWC fuel system) engine when a 7FGCU25 was scrapped out for spare parts (truck was knocked off the dock and FOPS was ruined).
My question is this: Will this engine drop into the chassis, and bolt up to the transmission and torque convertor of a 5FGCU truck? Will the intake and exhaust manifolds of the engine currently in the 5FGCU25 bolt on to the 4Y engine?
If so we do not plan to utilize the TWC fuel system. Instead we will continue to use the J series convertor and VFF 30 lock off valve in use now.
We have an interest in this possible use for the salvaged 4Y because our "shop forklift" is the old 5FGCU25 and it has accumulated near 50,000 hours and has begun to show its age pretty badly (seems to always have a little blue cloud following it).

if your five has a cast iron bell it will not. other than that the water pump and alt brackets make up the difference and they are adaptable.
