Forklift Accident Videos

Does anyone know where I could download/purchase any videos of graphic forklift accidents ? I have found quite a few online, but not any that show how serious the outcome can be with regards to personal injury. I've like to get a hold of a couple to use in an orientation/training package that will drive home how seriously a person could be injured.

Hi Jeff. A great site for free videos is www.worksafebc.com The young persons (lost youth) videos are kind of graphic. One in particular that hits home with my trainees is the one involving Luke Perry - a follow up to his story can be found with an internet search. Vocam supply very good films but we also buy from "Paragon" in the uk as the prices are much more reasonable.

Hi Jeff, I also had been looking for a long time for a decent safety training DVD, and found 2 excellent productions made by Vocam Pty Ltd in Victoria, Australia. 1 is called Forklift Safety Essentials (26 mins) where they tip forklifts (in a controlled environment) and show outcomes of poor driving practises, and the other is Forklift Stability Essentials that explains Centre of Gravity and Extended Load Centre principles. I have used them both during refresher training in all out plants, and they certainly made an impact on the drivers. Vocam can send a link for you to preview these titles and they are approx A$350 per title. Hope this helps.
