Caterpillar CAT T50:
error code flashing e-34

We have a CAT P5000 forklift in the shop with a nissan engine(propane) and it is constantly flashing code e-34. Checked with local Cat dealer, says it is an overheating code but the temp gauge is always normal. Checked all wiring/fuses and connections, looked ok, tried the procedure given by dealer to clear code but it didn't work.
Could not find a temp sensor in the cylinder head.
Anyone have any idea what to look for?

Or undoing the battery.

ddrr, check your ignition coils

yeah what edward said... try the pedal dance
if that doesn't work then you will have to clear the codes using the diagnostic tool or laptop

clear the codes. either foot pedal dance or laptop/software. would have been better to start your own thread, with your error code, it would get more notice.

I have a code E-33 and it also tells me its a temp sender but that is ok. I found v-belt got debris and caused it to come off but i reinstalled and unit ran fine with full power but i have all lights on dash are flashing. Any advice. C5000 with nissan engine, thank you

ignition signal has not been continuously genererated while the engine is running.
detect electric current in an ignition coil circuit, judge abnormal ignition interval and make mil go on

You have the 4 cylinder engine. If this is true, E-34 is actually an ignition system error. It most likely has occured due to a misfire at some point in time. I'd start by checking the plugs and then move into other ignition system components (coils and their wiring).
