I have a problem with a Linde 394 T (VR6 engine without electronic throttle) The truck stopped starting, no voltage on the gas solenoid valve. When I unplug the plug and power the solenoid valve from the battery, the truck starts and works fine. I suspect a problem with the controller, but I'm not sure. The cables to the solenoid valve have been checked, Any ideas? Thank you.

On Linde the positive is constant the negative is broken either by switch or controller
If no neg from controller and no codes I would suspect a bad connection or a broken wire
Push down on all relays in the relay fuse box
I had one that apparently they had hit a large hole and caused relay to jump up and lose connection also check wiring and plug on rpm sensor
No error codes. According to the diagram, the plus wire goes through the fuse and it is OK. The minus wire goes straight from the engine control unit.
First are you getting any codes ?
The lock off is operated by the engine controller when the controller sees that engine is turning over via the rpm sensor and all safety inputs are there it sends a voltage
Through the relay - fuse box to the lock off
If no codes on dash and you are getting voltage at lock off I would start at lock off
A lot of people forget about the negative side of the equation so also check the brown wires
To insure you have a good negative
