Discussion:
H8.0ft will not start

Hi guys, got a h8.0FT6 with Kubota v3800t engine. It will eventually start with some easy start in the air intake, but will not idle. Briggs diagnosed blocked injectors, took them out and tested fine. All pressures as expected when it runs, but it will not start without easy start and accelerator needs to be to the floor to keep it going. I've recently stripped out the EGR valve as it's showing as stuck open at 12%. Valve was very coked up but cleaned up nicely, replaced it but still the same problem, could be the motorised controller which has failed, but would this stop the engine from starting?

E,

First remove fuel filters and check for contamination. Make sure there is no water. Check the fuel pump inlet and lines to see if there is a screen that could be blocked. The Kubota engine does not like any foreign materials in the fuel system. How many hours on the lift? When you checked the fuel injectors, did you remove the common rail? If so, was there any contamination in it? When installing the injectors back, were they installed in the correct cylinder they came out of?

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
