Hello all, I have a Heli CPYD35-TY5 LPG forklift that cranks but will not start. I have a few identical models that I have tried swapping parts with in hopes of getting that one that wont start up and running, but to no avail.
I have tried swapping the computers, regulator, carburetor, the entire wiring harness, and I am stumped. There definitely is spark and I've put a new battery and tank. No codes are coming up either. I've had a few local forklift mechanics with good reputations come and have a look, but they've been unsuccessful and have just left me with steep bills.
After reading online some people said to just try replacing the fuel hose for what its worth, but we've already checked that fuel is passing through.
Any ideas what the issue could be or something to try? Thanks in advance.

This is the exact engine I was hoping you would not have only for the sake of saying its the one I know the least about. Up here in Canada that engine option was not common (not sure if it was even available) due to emissions. here are the things I would be checking. if this unit has the e-controls fuel system, I would pull the carb diaphragm and wipe it with a clean dry rag. I know you mentioned the carb has been changed so this may not be a problem but this has been super common problem in the last few years as fuel gets worse. also I would change the spark plugs as I've had it happen to me more than once that even a complete new set of plugs died all at once. have you checked the fuel pressure at the regulator? One option to see if your spark and timing is ok is to give it just the smallest hint of ether while cranking and see if it kicks over. Hope this can be a bit of help to you.
I still have not found a solution, but I'm eager to get this unit back into action. I have a mechanic working on it now and he wants to try changing the distributor, coil, and cables that go to the spark plugs. The Heli has the Power Solutions Intl. 3.0 L LPG engine.
just out of curiosity had you found a solution yet? If not what engine do you have in this unit.
