Doosan (& Daewoo) D25S:
Wont turn on... dead

D25S-3 to be exact

Just became an owner, I have no owners manual or repair manual..

Forklift started fine, 2 months ago... Does nothing now with the key..

Battery is testing Hot.. But in 3 days will changeout the battery anyway

Is there a seat belt switch that wont allow it to start without being clicked ?

Some kids may have messed with the controls.. (rolleyes)

How funny... The word where Lucifer resides was blanked out.. lol..

If I cant get this forklift to fire up, can it be pulled up on a tilt bed? to be towed?

you can acces the starter from above. Open the hood and see. On the db33 diesel engine the starter is located on the right hand side, seen from driver's position, below the hydraulic main valve.

Thanks Speed freak,

I'll be there Saturday... I did tilt the seat cover forward.. no access that I can see to the starter, much less even see it... I assume this is a pit kind of thing? I need to gain access from underneath? kind of crazy... :(

Direction control lever should be in neutral position. You could try overriding safety circuit by turning on key switch and put 12 volts directly on the starter solenoid connection. Be sure to prevent truck from going forward or backwards. If its in the direction control lever and transmission solenoid is powered durng starting chances are that the truck will move as soon as it runs.
