Lansing Bagnell UNKNOWN:
Model FRES 2 wheels needed

Hello everybody

I have a FRES 2 which is about 30+ years old.
Serial no: 58100067
I am trying to source drive tyres and idler wheels for it.
My usual service company can not source them and the machine is perfect for us apart from this.
It is like a member of the family.
Anyone know where I might be able to find the parts ?

Showing items 1 - 6 of 6 results.
It sounds as if my machine is really old.
A collectors item maybe ?
They obviously made them well in those days.
It is still in service & loved.

thanks

Andy

I asked my father and Gary is right. 1958. In the 60's the serial numbers were 1 figure shorter and the first digit was the year in the 60s.
Part numbers should be equal.

I think it is 1975. Early trucks had only 1 figure for the year. I have to ask my father who worked on those trucks when they were new :-). He knows for sure.

I have a book with Lansing wheels and it shows the following part numbers (Can't confirm 100%, but when the sizes are good you are problably good to go:

load roller
part number 1002897-001
170x83 mm
8 1/2 x 3 1/4"

drive wheel
part number 3000808-001
310x114
7 3/4 x 3"
6 wheel bolts
pitch diameter 96

Both available at TVH

FRES 2.1 stabiliser wheel?
2001463-001
7 1/2 x 1 1/2"
Not available...

Your forklift supplier can order these at TVH

Hi Andrew
Your Fres 2 was manufactured in 1958 going by the serial no, the first 2 digits denote the year. From memory those wheelscan be bonded so as long as you have the old wheels a tyre company should be able to rebound them.
