Hyster LO 2.0:
LO 2.0 E444 06A31 Error - Tried a lot of things...

We have 2 of the E444 units. One had a steering fault so I replaced the steering sensor with another and now the steering is good but have a 06A31 error and it won't drive. I pulled the COMBIAC1 unit out of another E444 and swapped them over and the smaller steering controller one but now both of the units have the error.

I have a complete parts E444 I car swap parts out of but it's hard to work out where to start.

I'm not tech but I like to fix (or break) things myself. Any guidance would be great.

Hi,
Trying this:
with the key off - turn the steering tiller to full right lock, switch on the key while holding it there. once the startup sequence is complete, release the tiller.
This works on some of the later E444 machines to reset the steering position without the service tool.
hope it helps.
Chris
Matt,
Normally you had to calibrate the steering, by swopping the boxes you created a new error.
You need the Zapi handheld to make it drive again.
02A errors are the CombiAC errors and 06A from the EPS box.

This is the Yale version!

Technical Description:
On the above-mentioned truck series, the configuration file is present on both controllers (Combi AC1 and EPS AC0).
Swapping a controller from another truck (i.e. in order to make a troubleshooting), the configuration file stored in the controllers will be different and the error "Wrong config" will be shown (checking with Zapi Handset, otherwise 02AL33 will appear on the Full Mdi).
No errors will be immediately visible with standard BDI, all truck functions will be present, only traction will be reduced to 2Km/h.
This error / behaviour informs you that the controller connected to the node 2 or node 6 has a wrong configuration file.
With the following procedure you will be able to copy the configuration file from the controller already installed on the truck to the new one.
