Brian_J, give Easy_M a break too, he is from the Carolinas, he was sincere, I am sure.
Sometimes English is more than 3 different languages.
We (in the Carolinas) may not be speaking "English", sometimes what we speak might better be called speaking "Dixie", but we think it is you who has the accent, especially when you type.

A bit more about the story of this post is that Briggs are going to try and supply Doosan machines to the post office (from South Korea I've been told) through their sister company Birchwood (As in what used to be LEX Birchwood). I spoke to a Briggs engineer today who hadn't heard anything about the post office contract but there are lots of talk about the Doosan machines within the company.

Also sold 6 machines February and 8 machines March so lets hope thing's are picking up!!!!

All fairy tales do not believe the post is still and remain in the hands of Baloworld. Well product and especially good service that tells the field.

Spoke to a Barlow engineer today and he told me that he and all the other engineers have nothing/very little to do and their sitting around. Also by the end of April they are making engineers redundant.

No I am not getting at Engineers or at any particular Branch of the industry,

Just think that the poor wages has attracted some ******** that find ways of making money, other than give good service,

I really am agreeing that all those stupid deals that were done for " volume " are taking their toll.

I did say there are many good people, Even very good people, but the others have brought down the whole industry,

Anyway sorry you are having a bad day , relax you or I won't solve it have a pint and go home.

Good luck.

ALL the usual suspects have been at it for years and now we are all paying the price.

If you want to know how "not to behave in business" all you need to do is examine the forklift industry.

Prices have been on a downward spiral since the 1970's along with wages and the quality of people attracted to it. Yes of course there are many good guys but it has attracted a lot of ******** who would not know their Ar** from their elbow.

Barlow won this contract from Linde in an internet auction at prices Linde could not live with. The rumours I hear are that Barlow are losing their shirt on it.

Another rumour, and before everyone shoots the messenger again it's just what I've heard that Linde are about to announce redundancies. Any one know anything?
