Has anyone had a 2D code on a Raymond SA-CSR30T? This lift fails intermittently. Usually when the P contactor is energized. Operator stated happens more in the morning. I performed test A14, tested for shorts and grounds. Replaced the P contactor. My next step is VFC and Firmware or Power card. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Maybe there is a new version out? They wont sell the old ones. You probaly already checked. /0xx is for version last ones I put in was 038 and that was years ago.
371 is an sa? If so all is good!
9v battery thing is weird, guess you had power supply issue inside vm? Good way around it.
I have them at a couple different locations. My tallest ones are 371" max height. I was told that kit 838-910-001/039 is no longer available. Now order individual chips. I was use to replacing all 3 at the same time just like on the order pickers.
I had some problems initially on the 9600's with the VM when loading software where I had to use a little 9 volt battery to because it would lose it's heat beat.
I used to do firmware upgrades regularly. A few times problems with the truck arose afterwards due to programming errors in the new firmware. I don't do it anymore unless i have to for a new piece of hardware thats not compatible and as long as it's 4.10 and up I think...
I always keep the firmware with the truck.
I can see 9600 not having a kit but sa sb must have kit unless they stopped supporting it and no further revisions are to be made. Could get ugly putting a new Esm chip with old tm and cm versions or whatever mix you like. Code fx I believe.
How tall are your units?
Stam thanks for your help. I'm going to start with the power card and go from there.
Did you do the firmware kit with the VFC? I understand now Raymond doesn't sell the Firmware as a kit. You can buy and replace as individual chips.
Intermittent. Bad batteries were in my fleet but only one truck was giving this problem.
I haven't had a power card give me a 29 yet. 29 can be tricky to clear after a transistor failure and a bone head in the drivers seat. I've had to swap vfcs with a working truck one time to get operational again, the code just locked in the sram on the vfc. Reprogramming it to a new truck cleared it out.
Good luck.
Was it a hard 2D code or intermittent? What bothers me on this problem is the fact that it fails when using the hydraulics versus travel. I've had the power card fail on more then one occasion with the code 29.
Thanks for replying!
I've had this code only once and the power card was the fault.
