propane sputter or miss???

Hi There I'm new to the group I looking for some help I have a 1993 Kalmar C50 Forklift it has a Mitsubishi motor It starts up and runs fine Cold but when it runs for awhile and you shut it off you have to use starting fluid ( or ) it only starts when you let off of the key.And now in the last few weeks it has a new added problem it runs smooth and fine cold but again once it warms up it starts sputtering and missing so bad when If I turn the lights on it will kill the motor if I turn them back off fast enough it will somewhat recover and won't die. it will Idle fine and stay at a high RPM fine its the in between. We thought it was electrical we have changed the points ,condensor checked plugs, wires ,altenator it has a new Battery Any help would be great. Thanks Don............

have you checked the engine timing and check that the advance/**** mechanism in the distributor is working properly. sounds to me like it,s just badly timed. check all the vaccuum lines around the carb
