Raymond 4DR40TT:
Service Manual?
Does anyone have a service manual for this I could download?
I keep blowing the 2 fuses on the lower right. The unit worked fine, I had someone replace a reach/tilt hose and ever since then it has not been right. I am guessing the card and the diode assemblies got hit during installation. I can get it to go FWD/REV when the fuses are replaced and I have pressure on the card edge. I will fix that first obviously. I have another throttle card and wiring harness from a used machine on the way. I have diodes on the way as well. It will work for a bit then seem to not have enough power to move and then blow the fuses. I cannot make sense of what is happening. Also, I found one of the diode Assembly partially connected with a hose obstructing it from being plugged up properly, that particular diode assembly could be installed upside down as well unlike the others and I wonder if he messed that up at some point. Another weird occurrence is that when I first tried to use it after he messed it up, the wires going to the solenoid atop the forks got hot and melted the coating off the wire, those have not got hot again.
The unit does not seem that complicated but I have no clue of what does what. Not even sure what that solenoid does.
Thanks for any help on this unit. Sad thing is it is so old and ran so well and whatever he did is simple I am sure but causing havoc...
