I have an EOP 15 Serial Number:1EOP240838 that displays code -1 on display, it has the EV-100 card, and the the control board it shows an H, the board model number is NA11007, from what i have researched is i need to put it into learn mode but don't know how, the whole order picker wont move. it also has some switches from 1-8 on the control board that can be flipped on and off and some were moved and i am not sure of their original position, please help. Thank You

well ManRandy
have you verified all the limit switches are working, correctly adjusted, cables are good and they are plugged into the correct ports on the carriage wiring board?
that code d does indicate the limit switches are not in correct sequence so something is out of order there.
That is ok, i appreciate your help so far, but pertaining to code d do you have any suggestions on how to repair that problem.
code P?
well the only thing i can find on that is it means 'Pendant Detected'
but there is no explanation as to what it pertains to
this one is a mystery
odd they would tell you that in the troubleshooting guide but not tell you what causes it or how to troubleshoot it.
maybe someone else here will see this thread that has encountered this error and know what it is and how to fix it
now just making an educated guess being that it describes it as a 'pendant' code i would make the assumption it might pertain to maybe an impact sensor or level sensor but that is just a logical guess.
Knowing these trucks do not normally come equipt with these type devices normally, without any info on it i wouldnt put a whole lot of thought into what i think about it ;o)
sorry i cant help with this one
Ok thank you, but it is now no longer showing a d but rather a P now, what does that mean if you don't mind, thank you. Also it flashed a Y for a sec and then the key switch disengaged, and then i reset it and for some reason it just went up on its own.
code d indicates 'limit switches do not agree'
this is dealing with the limit switches in the mast
possible causes:
- 60" switch may not be operating properly
- 150" switch or related circuits may not be working properly
- 24" switch or related circuits may not be working properly
Thank you for your help, i looked everywhere for this kind of info, but after i did the learn mode the led display did not show an O but rather a lower case d, if you don't mind helping me again what does that mean? Thank You
someone moved those dip switches? oh boy :o/
code -01? code H?
ok first off...
- the code -01 is no kill switch (emergency cutoff aka:estop) input.
check the estop circuit
or it could be...
- the brakes not releasing or....
- open circuit between B+ and TB3 on control card.
But before you even check that lets get those dip switches in the right sequence, there are 2 dip switch components on the IC, one has 8 and the other has 3 switches in it.
We'll start with S1 (8 switches)
by factory default they are set as follows:
(note: if the switch is moved toward the indentation it is considered ON, away from indentation it is OFF.
1 (lift inhibit or lift cutout) = with inhibit option OFF, without ON
2 (2 or 3 stage mast) = 2 stage OFF, 3 stage ON
3 (full speed option @ 60") = with full speed ON, without OFF
4 (lowering deceleration) = with decel option ON, without OFF
5 (not used)
6 (throttle learn mode) = learn mode on ON, normal run mode OFF
7 (lift/lower learn mode) = learn mode on ON, normal run mode OFF
8 (2 speed lift) = 2 speed enabled ON, single speed OFF
Now for S2 (3 switches) these are for setting the steering mode for cable or electric steering.
1 (cable steering) ON , (electric steering) OFF
2 not used
3 not used
Now for the code H?
this indicates the throttle pot needs to be learned.
to check the lift/lower and throttle pots use this proceedure:
(do not move the dip switches, make sure S6 and S7 are in normal run mode)
verify lift/lower potentiometer
- turn truck off and unplug battery
- hook meter leads pos lead to TP3 and neg lead to TP4 on IC
- plug in battery and turn truck on and verify travel pot is set to 2.50v, if not then set it. Once set turn truck off and remove meter leads.
verify Throttle potentiometer
- hook meter pos to TP2 and neg to TP4
- turn on truck and verify 2.50v and adjust till 2.50v if not.
- once set turn off truck and remove meter leads.
NOW, that you have verified the potentiometers are set properly to center you can run learn mode on both to calibrate them.
Use this proceedure:
- keyswitch off
- move S6 (throttle) and S7 (lift/lower) to ON position
- turn keyswitch on
- an 'L' will appear on display on IC
- Return S6 to off position
- the horn will beep a single beep and a J will appear on display
- move throttle full speed to fork forks first direction, the horn will beep twice, release handle, a single beep will indicate neutral position.
- move handle in full speed to tractor first direction, horn will beep twice, release handle.
- an 'L' will appear on display
- return S7 to OFF position
- horn will give single beep and display will show 'J'
- move lift/lower control to full lift and hold till horn beeps twice
- release handle, a single beep will indicate neutral position
- move lift/lower control to full lower and hold, horn will beep twice
- release handle, horn will probably beep once to indicate neutral
if all calibrations are successful display will change to 'O' and truck is ready to run.
hopefully once you get the controls learned these other things will go away but if they do not please let us know what else is happening and we'll work on that also ;o)
good luck
