Discussion:
TCM no start

I have a TCM w/ a K25 cranks but will not start, if i introduce a secondary fuel supply it will run. I have traced it to (i believe) the #11 wire(yellow) coming out of the large plug on the ECM, it goes to the LPG assist solenoid and has battery voltage all the time when the ign is on. The other wire to solenoid is a brown that comes from all the EGI relays and is also batt voltage. Is the yellow wire suposed to switch polarity in order to work the assist sol?

I have a question for anyone good with tcm forklifts with the Nissan 2.5L. forklift will crank and try to start for a second then immediately die, the ecm and fuel system has been replaced recently but no luck. I was testing the crank sensor right on top of the crank and found that the unit will act the exact same with the crank sensor disconnected, try to fire and immediately die. this is leading me to believe that the crank sensor is the cause of this no start. obviously its not controlling spark but could have something to do with fuel flow?
any advice is greatly appreciated. sorry to back pack off thread.

Have you checked for a fuse in the loom near the fuel injector?

Thanks for all the help yall! I figured it out yesterday.
I tried a LPG driver and injector separately before, but yesterday i tried them together and obviously that was it, IDK if the inj took out the driver or vise-versa, it is now fine-just in case anyone else runs into this problem. I still dont know why the Hittachi didnt pick up on this failure.

this is correct, the lpg solenoid should only open if the engine control manager computer sees that operation is safe, if it does not meet all the criteria for safe operation, then it should shut down, or not open the fuel control solenoid.
in your case, my experience would say to replace all the relays in the relay box
The solenoid should open while cranking, with the key switch crank signal powering the LPG relay through a couple of other relays.
when you crank it, does the "hitacchi handset" show engine rpm in the 100 to 250 rpm range? (crank sensor and cam sensor check?)

Replaced vaporizer, tried new injector, LP driver, 2 different ECM's.
The yellow wire #11 is not triggering the solenoid, it does when i back-probe to check voltage. My thought is that wire should change from pos to neg to work solenoid.?? I have the Hitacchi handset, and it also "says" everything is good.
