Linde (& Baker) H25T:
Cold Start problems

I have a 2001 propane powered Linde H25T4585 S/N 351F02149525 that has been a wonderful machine until just recently. Two problems - first, the starter solenoid is intermittent. I have to rotate the key into the start position, turn it off and rotate again to get the engine to turn over. Sometimes it just won't engage until I put a battery charger on it. When it engages, it starts fine. No weird noises. It's not due to a bad battery - I put a new one in it and it still does the same thing.
Second problem - when it does start, it runs extremely (and I do mean extremely ) rough for at least 5 minutes in warm weather and 20 minutes in cold weather. Not enough power to do anything. Then as if a switch activated, it runs perfectly from then on. Will lift to capacity and runs extremely well.
Any ideas on what is broken?
I have replaced the regulator and removed the pressure switch manifold, so the propane tank connects directly to the regulator.
Plugs look perfect.

Check your flywheel for damaged teeth.Sensor at flywheel could be bad. Also their is I believe a crankshaft sensor behind oil filter Check resistance. Had one where motor ran for 20 min then shut down. Pulled sensor and when sensor was cold resistance was.916. Put sensor in hot hot water for 5 min and resistance went to zero.
