Jungheinrich EMC 110:
Controller replacement

Do controllers for the current models (3 phase drive) require any programming or tuning upon installation? Controller replacement did not solve our problem, and I want to rule out this possibility before further experimentation damages the new controller.

Employer is somewhat reluctant to initiate a service call given our highly modified stackers and remote location. If that is the only way to go, we will do so, just trying to find some basic info first.

Thanks in advance!

There are about 11 setting for the traction controller. If the replacement controller is set to the same parameter values you should be ok but you mentioned you have a modified machine so it may be that adjusting some controller settings is required. Did you copy the settings in the old controller? that would be a good reference point to start from.
