At my work we have a hyster s50xl from the 80's. We have certified technician come in usually when we need repairs. The last time the tech came in he replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs and wires, and "fuel condenser"? Also it sometimes cuts out really bad when you hit the gad to go up our ramp and it barely moves, you could basically walk up the ramp faster than it would go. Thoughts? Thanks!

It sometimes chokes if you hit the gas too fast, and it idles really low when you side shift, if you use then tilt while lifting an object it will nearly stall out. I can hear it missing alot more than something like a bad spark plug or choked air filter would cause
does it still choke and puke when just sitting still, but with a hydraulic load being lifted? if this is related to driving up a ramp much more than just having a load on the engine, you may well have a broken torque converter.
Is that the part that says impco on it? Because he replaced that whole assembly. And one of my co workers informed me that a while back the tech told him that our coolant line into the vaporizer is too small? I don't really know anything about forklifts so I'm at a loss here
Wonder if he bothered to clean the mixer out
