NACCO Home Depot

Did NACCO book the Home Depot business for 1000 trucks? Raymond now doing all the maintenance for Walmart?

Raymond was booted out of Wal-Mart here in Ontario 4 years ago. All DC's for Wal-Mart are going Crown. Most Wal-mart stores are switching to Crown as the Raymond lifts wear out.
The statement "Raymond is doing all the maintenance for Wal-mart" is totally wrong. The friendship between the founders of Walmart and Crown go way back, and that partnership will continue. I visited a huge walmart DC last month, that was 100% Raymond 4 years ago. Now, over 200 Crown trucks with Hydrogen fuel cells keep the place going. Crown is a sleeping giant that just woke up. They are poised to take an even bigger market share. Raymond has Home depot in Canada, with Toyota Propane CB trucks...all on a tight fixed maintenance budget.
Don't know anything about NACCO, but it's very possible they will take Home Depot. Might have to get a job with them!

well things may be changing
from my recollection
home depot dealt with raymond and also had cats for a while, i last heard they were getting away from cat and looking at other options.

As for walmart?
i have no clue but i do agree, raymond will be under the microscope because walmart is definitely a micro managing company so they will be watching every cent. If they go in there with the attitude i know them for in our area, they certainly will be humbled.

The company i work for does work for them and we have problems when it comes to billing and them not wanting to pay for various reasons. From what i can remember though, walmart has always been like that.
I almost think their philosophy is 'yes we want you to fix it but we don't want to pay what you charge for it'. DOH!

As far as the walmart/raymond thing; somebody is going to get humbled.

A 1904 lecture by scientist Elie Metchnikoff extolled the benefits of consuming yoghurt for halting the "intestinal putrefaction" which he believed causes aging. The press reported yoghurt as a cure for aging and the ensuing popularity is still with us today.
