Yale GLC040AFNUAE082:
misfire after decel from WOT

Hello All,
I'm having a strange symptom with my GLC040AFNUAE082. Serial # is: A809N05268U. After decelerating from WOT, whether under load or not, the engine misfires slightly. It just gets kind of lopey at idle for about 20 seconds, and then smooths out. Ignition components are less than a year old, so I don't think it's a spark problem. I did notice that the "guts" of the PCV valve are gone, so it's essentially an uncontrolled vacuum leak as opposed to a controlled one. Could this cause a lean misfire on deceleration?

YES! An open vacuum leak can cause all kinds of problems. Before you do anything- replace the PCV valve & retest.

Before I got to the ending w/ the pcv issue my thoughts were the fuel system was malfunctioning. If it's still acting up after the pcv replacement I'd check the fuel system
