Yale OS030EAN21TE089:
Electrical Issues

Electrical circuit board was fried. Replaced board. No fwd/rev, steering, or brakes. Blows fuse. No lights turn on on the circuit board. Any schematics to help with diagnosis or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

a schematic is not going to be enough
you are going to need the service manual (including the EPS section)
since you replaced the EPS board it will have to be setup.
It is integrated into the drive system along with the steering and it needs to be setup correctly before it will work correctly.
There should be a dip switch module that enables and disables certain functions and modes and also a couple of trim pots across the top of the board? those need to be verified and set correctly as well.
Do not trust the card out of the box expecting it to be set right... it probably isn't.

until you get it setup right the truck will not run right or at all.
until you purchase a manual for this truck you will be spinning your wheels and getting nowhere and could possibly blow out the board again. And until you resolve the 'fuse blowing' problem i would not attempt to try and run the truck for very long because it could cause more damage.

good luck

Thanks to all for your input. Still having some issues. Does anyone have an electrical schematic to assist in diagnosis?

sounds like you replaced the EPS controller board
but once again i ask
which fuse did you replace that keeps blowing?

by all means do like edward says, isolate the battery from the truck frame or at least check for shorts to the frame from batt pos and neg. Being that the system is isolated from the frame anyway by design, so ground is actually the neg circuit you don't want any readings to the frame.
If you do read voltage from either side of the battery circuit then you will have to isolate where it is coming from and the first step would be removing the battery away from the frame to eliminate that.

what i'm curious about though is why you had to replace the board in the first place, what fried it? It could be a bad (steering) motor if this is the EPS board you replaced as i suspect.

as this truck is an electric (motive battery powered), it's "short" that is blowing fuses may not be a "short to -ground-" as much as a short between battery neg and battery positive,
That said the first step to isolating this problem, if it were me, would be to isolate the battery from the truck and check to insure there is no shorts of less than 100k ohm to the frame of the truck from any power cable.

"it's not rocket surgery"
Serial number is A801N059155.
Part # to circuit board replaced is 519432625. I believe it is some sort of logic board. Has about 6 LED lights on it. 2 harnesses plug into it.

ATK,
first thing we need to know is what serial number is this truck?
second, which circuit board are you speaking of?

also, if it is blowing fuses there is definately a short circuit to ground somewhere, which fuse is it?

the serial number will help alot sir ;o)
