would you have a parts manual for a Raymond 152OPC30TT?
thanks
Thanks for your diligence I just went through my service bulletins & found it. I am embarrassed that it got by me I am typically pretty good at implementing updates from the service bulletins.
I will be sure to pass the word around our shop too.
ok after looking at the hydraulic schematic, electrical schematic, manual and service bullitens.
the key has to be off or the battery has to be unplugged in order for the e-lower to work. when on (even on auto off) the prop valve (which is normally open) is receiving voltage keeping it closed. so when turning the e-lower/L/H solenoid **** it will do nothing.
If you look up RSB OPR-07-001 it has a newer software that fixes this and will allow the truck to be lowered when ever.
i have to double check on this for the reason why. there is a logical reason why.
But as I stated above this is only for the 5200 not the 5400-5600 orderpickers.
I have worked on several 5200 orderpickers this week.
You need to step on the deadman for the emer. lower to work! If the truck times out you will need to rekey the truck!
I have a question to add.
what do you do if your operator is incapacitated! How do you get him or her down. Assume no tech on site & no other orderpickers in the building!
the 5400 and the 5600 model raymonds will lower at any time using the emergency lower. The 5200 I think is the one that doesnt with the single speed lift as they dont go as high as the othe models. I will double check
On the models with single speed lift the carriage will not come down with the key off. These are the ones with the lowering valve on the lowering solenoid.
hi,Chrissa:
Lower valve is important part of the products.
And Ray is famous brand, if chage, she would notice the clients.
This is what i do.

Chrissa you are correct! the 5000 series pickers will not lower by simply opening the emergency lower valve, you need to step on the deadman pedal. Further if the picker is set to time out you will need to rekey the truck to get it to lower. I have questioned the wisdom of this myself!
Hi Chrissa:
Specific videos on the truck can be found here:
