Discussion:
Steer tires

Does anyone know the correct size of the steer tires? The local dealer is of no help. The tires are so thin that I can't read the side wall. The width & rim size I can factor, but overall diameter I don't know. Thanks

Thanks Titus- yes this truck is old- about a 1970- and it is a solid tired unit. I do know how to check the inside rim diamter & width- I just didn't know the outside diameter. Turns out the tire in question is 16.25 x 6 x 11.25. Thanks for the input

Hi BB forks,
Just going of the Model no of this truck I would say this truck was very old and I can't recall the tyre size of the top of my head,
Measure the inside dia of wheel casting and width of the tyre this will give you two dimensions theme you can have an educated guess.
These wheels are they a phuematic type rim or a hard type cushion rim.

The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
