Discussion:
How do you check field windings code 106

I have a code 106, main contact good, will lift, good horn, no forward movement. 25.5 volts, when try to move control forward or back code 106 jumps up. Checked all wire controll box blinking code 3.1 says to check k10 (good) main contact (good) and field windings. How do i check the field windings? Any and all help from the tech pros on this site is deeply appreciated.

np, if everything else seems to be good, could be a bad traction amp itself.

Ohmed out windings good ohms nothing to ground. Placed battery voltage on winding very little drop. So I am taking it as good. Placed armature on growler checked out good. Check four wire from handled red, black, green, white allchecked good nothing to ground. Everything works but when I move /rotate co trol handle to go forward still get E106 and 3.1 on controler. Any idea how to check digital outputs. Horn works, raises up and down. Will not move forward.

CALLED RAYMOUND NO HELP. THEY WANT ME TO BUY A MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT AND SEND OUT A TECH BUT WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY HELP OVER THE PHONE.
