That's what happens when the key is being pulled on before the switch is all the way off.

Grind down a spare key on either side and insert it into the key switch but where it would be in the on position. Once the key is in turn the switch off.

So how come the key rests to the right but doesn't snap back to the left?

I got same problem with Crown RC3000. The key seems ok, I tried two other keys both end up with Rekey Error=109.

When turn the key all lights come on but nothing goes on, after left go the key and waited for 10-20 seconds all lights come on but no display on the green led screen. All lights on and the little Maintance icon is on too but can't perform any action at all.

We don't have crown service company here and we need to figure out how to fix it.

Thanks

109 happens when key is turned to on but not all the way to start and switch is left in this position for a period of time.

The black box flight recorder was invented by Australian scientist David Warren in the mid-1950s. While initially met with indifference in Australia, his invention gained international recognition, particularly in the UK, and is now a mandatory piece of safety equipment on all commercial aircraft.
