Stewart-Stevenson

What is happening with SS and Briggs. Is SS no longer a Hyster dealer? HYG continuing to reduce their number of dealers. When will NACCO sell HYG.

It all will depend on if any one wants to buy Hyster Yale and at what price they will pay for it. It seems Hyster yale is still a good US Business and for an other forklift company wanting to break the US market this would be a good starting place.

With the new president elect stating that he wants to make America Great again what will this mean for Hyster Big trucks in Holland. many of their competitors build in the USA Toyota with Hoist , Kalmar and Taylor so a buyer might be sorted quicker than expected sell now while the going is good

Now Hyundai is up for sale it might be harder for Hyster Yale to find a buyer

Not familiar with Stewart but from looking at their website and the other markets they are into I am guessing that Hyster was just a small part of that. Or it could be like every other OEM where they are consolidating dealerships to make them more profitable. Considering that Hyster-Yale is a traded on the stock exchange and their recent purchase of Bolzoni and Nuvera I would not think it would be any time soon.

Fact of the week
The dot-com bubble, a period of large and rapid investments in internet-based companies, peaked in 2000 and saw the Nasdaq Composite index rise by 579%. Then the bubble imploded. As the value of tech stocks plummeted, cash-strapped internet start-ups became worthless and collapsed.
