H40xms cranks but will not start

Im working on a older H40xms with a mazda 2.0 it had been running but i had to tap the epr coil with a screwdriver to get it to start this past week several times....it runs on brake clean...installed a new epr and a new epr coil and the lift cranks and has spark but still will not start...i did notice that the coil is not magnatizing like it should....i found that coil gets its power from the ecm...im stumped on this one, do you guys think the ecm or cam sensor is faulty?...anything im missing...thanks

Found the issue, ground wire on the coil pigtail was not making contact so the coil would not magnetize without ground, fixed the wire & the lift started right up, thank you
