Discussion:
no spark

have an early 90's hyster H50XM s/n H177B25234Y. Not getting any spark. Oil pressure switch seems to be good. What controls the spark beside oil pressure. Any ideas how to check the module in the distributor?

Any help would be appreciated

what type of electronic ignition do you have- one module in the distributor only, or one module in the distributor & a control box for the ignition somewhere near the ignition coil?

If you're not sure- send a pic of the module in the distributor to me

Customers love technology- until they have to pay to fix it!
You may want to check the continuity of the coil inside the distributor under the rotor that plugs into the module. It should measure 800 ohms.
