Thank You swoop I do appreciate all your help on this - we can see no obvious points that may indicate line diodes but will have a good look just in case. It may help with schematics if you could send then - email - service at mantonhire dot com thank you once again and so sorry to be a pest. Best wishes.

It is possible the diodes may be inside the controller but from the looks of the wiring schematic they are in the harness. Probably wrapped up under some tape. The controller schematics do not show them internally.
Also the connectors on the controller should be labeled A, B, C, and D and if you look inside the connector there should be pin numbers. They are pretty small so you will need some good light and maybe a magnifying lens of some sort.

When i get home this evening i'll see if i can get the schematics to you, they should help alot.

Thank you so much for all your help - all continuity checks and voltages are ok - although our machine is 48v so the voltages are 48 but appears sound - i think D2 + D3 are built into the zappi AC2 unit so will have to remove it and send it to them for service repair but if you can tell me where to check the diodes to confirm I would be very greatful. Thanks again.

status code 209L
Brake Coil Open

again check the afore mentioned
fuses
wiring
connections

also
- Check the resistance of the brake coil. The coil resistance should read approximately 32 ohms.
- Recycle key switch.
- Check for voltage at the brake coil. Should read approximately 36 volts. If no voltage, check wiring for loose connections at the dash display connector pin #A12 & pin #A13. Also check pin #C28 & pin #C29 at the traction controller. Check for open cir-
cuits in the wiring harness.
- Check brake circuit diodes.
- Check brake circuit diodes D2 and D3 for an open or shorted condition.

good luck

Good Morning Swoop - sorry my bad - 202 is on "low Hydraulic oil level" because we have raised the mast to gain access to front drive motor - the fault code for drive failure is 209 - left hand brake coil open circuit. Many Thanks.

For this truck and that serial number they only show one drive system , an AC controlled system.

according to the service book status code 202 is:
Hydraulic Oil Low

Possible Causes:
blown or improperly seated fuse
Faulty wire connection
Forks are not fully lowered
Oil Level Low in Resivoir
Faulty sensor
