Discussion:
OM/Komatsu Reach throttle error

HI there
We have a customer with a OM pimesbo/Komatsu reach FB20RW1R/C1/PKKL
serial: F24519R0025

The original controller was damaged due to water ingress. The customer replaced the controller which when powered up came with error 'pot out of range'. Unfortunately the pot will not calibrate. The customer has tried with the pimesbo software, the win zapi software and even the komatsu/Zapi analyser.

They have also changed the full controller as they suspectedit might be a problem in the controller. Still the same error.
They then tried changing the foot pedal, which still comes up with pot out of range error and still will not allow calibration.

When testing the foot pedal on the handset it shows it changes from 0.3v up to 5v, but when they go into calibration mode, nothing changes the values all remain on 0.00v.

All the wires check back from the foot pedal to the unit ok also.

Any pointers would be of great help.

Regards

update:
it was the hydraulic lever pots faulty which was also preventing throttle calibration. once these were replaced it now allows calibration.

Thank you for all the assistance.

Sorry the error was 'put out of range'.
Which according to the manual is related to hydraulic.

Thank you for your comments and the information you have supplied. I was looking at the error list and it appears it could be pot out ofc range error related to the hydraulic lever pots and not the accelerator pot as I initially thought.

it also would not let me calibrate hydraulic.

we will try again this time focusing our attention on the hydraulic levers.

Will update once resolved.

Thanks once again
