man i could write a book on forums and etiquette and following through etc etc etc.
But I'll just say this...
There are those that will go out of their way to help those in need and then there are those that just cruise by and take what they need and then bail for whatever reasons. It would be nice if the posters would follow through on their posts though. It certainly would help others when searching for their solutions to their problems.
I don't worry about that, i just help out when i can the best i can.
Kudos to those that DO , hats off to you!
I have the same problem on several forums
if people let us know what the final outcome is it makes it alot easier for the next person
and often we will learn as well
Karma my friends- Karma. If we're good natured enough to answer questions, give away our years of experience, free of charge, then I believe that will come back to us 10 fold.
To those who take advantage-& they will always be there- Karma will take care of them
As far taking advantage? I can remember when i was green behind the ears and needed help at times. Even to this day i still need a lil guidance from time to time on stuff i am not experienced on. I try and give benefit of doubt that they may be in a bind or exhausted troubleshooting via aservice manual and cannot solve their problem or just need a second opinion. As always my Aussie friend some will always take advantage but i am willing to overlook the few that do to help a brother in need.
a valid point but there are also some people that seem want info on every job that they do so does that mean that they don't have to buy any manuals?? or are they just taking advantage of peoples good nature
great post... a little frustrating to not hear back
I do agree for 100 percent.
