Code 43

Have a code 43. Serial # is EASI-00-AJ27055. Goes thru start up. Codes out once deadman is pressed.

sounds like you have a bad pot in the handle giving you the un-requested lift. test A04 could help diagnose that.

your right, bad batteries are the main cause of contactor issues like you are having. code 42 is welded lift contact.

Thanks Stam. Lost the code 43. Now have code 42. Acting real funny. If you go to drive the hydraulics kick in, and then codes out. After some hard looking I did find the TM card had a bad circuit board line. I am assuming this would be the only problem but I will find out once I get the new card and test further. I will try to keep you up to date.

By the way the battery is in pretty poor shape. I suspect that is what caused the problem. Customer continued to operate truck when it was dead.
