Allis Chalmers C50 LP convertor seal

Working on a C50 LP with a Nissan H 20 engine. Removed engine and went to remove convertor. Do you have to remove transmission front part to remove onvertor and install seal?

Hey thanks for replying, any advice helps!! Found that on an Allis Chalmers transmission, you have to take the front end of the transmission off, then has two snap rings on front of convertor you remove after removing fly wheel plate mount. Then you can slide off convertor to access seal. Kinda a pain in you know what!!!

dog- not familiar with your exact machine- does the torque convertor bolt together? I've worked on some older nissans where the converter had to be disassembled to remove it.
