just fixed my problem as well fault 56 rhs 1a1 unit no forward rive to rhs wheel hyd is powered by lhs unit i believe
you hef relly bad luck to day
I have managed to get to the root of the problem, with newer truck doctor the laptop connects to the truck I was trying the logic on but there is also a problem with the logic off the faulty truck, it works but it won't connect to truck doctor (talk about bad luck) in the end I put the logic off the good truck on the faulty truck and managed to get the error codes 45 and 54 which is pointing to a faulty 1A1 power unit.
when your truck doctor working on another truck that's good wall will change nothing in truck Docktor only date he continues to work
This is a truck with 2 line boxes or multi box?
best regards michel
"I haven't checked if there is a 48 volt supply to the logic as I thought the logic would only need a 24 volt supply for truck doctor to connect"
you might be right, don't know fur sure. But what I mean to say: If all the supplies of the logic are as they should be, the problem is possibly in the logic.
Is you truck doctor working OK on other trucks? Maybe your installation of TD has gone wrong.
Hi all,
Thanks for the replies, as far as I can see all the fuses are OK and the converter is working (that was one of the first things I checked) I haven't checked if there is a 48 volt supply to the logic as I thought the logic would only need a 24 volt supply for truck doctor to connect. I am now not sure what is wrong, I have tried the logic on another truck and it works OK, and i tried my laptop on that truck with my logic and it still would only works when connected to the display (6x1) if I connect it to 1x2 or 2x5 the laptop will not connect unfortunately I didn't connect my laptop to the truck I tried the logic on with its original logic so there may still be a problem with my logic talking to truck doctor, I will go back to the faulty truck tomorrow see if I can find a problem with the wiring. The only thing I can think of is if the truck doctor I am using is not compatible with the age of truck I am trying to connect to, the truck doctorI am using is 2.00.008, any help would be appreciated
If you have truckdoctor you have the wiring schematics.
Check the pins on the controller for B-, B+ and +24V from the converter. If all that is present truckdoctor should work. If not the controller is dead.
Duodeluxe, it's rather not seat switch.
Truck Doctor should work anyway.
Of course I presume, that Controlelectric knew, that the Truck Doctor should be connected to three different sockets on the truck: for indicator unit, traction and lift. All of them are visibly marked.
If yes, and there no connection to the controllers...
well I never encountered the situation that both controllers died, unless somebody burned the truck (ro example changing the polarisation of battery plug).
Perhaps the issue is simple.
Controlelectric, are you sure, all the fuses are OK?
For me it looks like some may be burned.
Did you check the seat switch?
