Discussion:
Won't drive while steering

When forks are above 24" unit will not drive while steering to the left or the right. Already replaced both steering switches and the two lower mast switches. Any ideas on where to go from here.

alot of orderpickers are and can be configured this way if operating in an aisle to keep the truck from driving when steering off center. I believe its called a 10 degree cutout.
It is an option so not ALL trucks have this, it seems yours does.

I'm sure there is a way to turn this off or disable it but would you really want to?

Check the dash panel to see if there are any enable/disable switches, one may be there for a manual disable mode when working out of the racks. Otherwise there may be some issue with the circuit when below 24".

Home Depot trucks are configured this way. If I remember correctly, you need the hand held that plugs into the Curtis controller to change the configuration on this.

Ain't nothing I can't fix but a broken heart and the break of day!
Can I get to that configuration through the Curtis Controller? Is that something I can get to without the handset that attaches to the card?

Sounds like a configuration in the menu
There is a setting to slow/stop the truck when elevated and not going straight.
