Can anyone please shed some light on a problem with a Kalmar DCD 55-6. The problem is that the traction / drive in either direction, drops out afte 17 seconds exactly. On this model, the dump valve usually operated by an inching pedal (not present on the kalmar) has been bracketed to stay in permenantly and traction is disconnected via a footbrake switch. the whole thing runs through a 'Rev Lock' (black box behind the cab, possibly anti plugging) The live feed from the direction switch remains constant into this rev-lock but the outputs on high speed or low and in both directions, lose their live feed after 17 seconds. The Rev-Lock has been changed (supplied by TVH) to no avail. The solenoids have been tested direct from the battery pos' and dont drop out. The bank of relays which all the variations of drive run through are clicking in and don't appear to be dropping out. Short of wiring this Rev-lock out at the risk of the transmission not achieving neutral unless selected on the dir' lever, we have tried everything we can think of without success. One last point is: The Transmission has just been professionally overhauled as part of the repair process. Any help would be greatfully received. Cheers in advance. Iain (goinplaices)
