h80xm monotrol problem

Forward ok,But It takes a lite rev of the engine.To get reverse to engage.Any help on what to check for.Thanks Kent

Had an H80XL with the same issue a while back. Turned out the wiring harness to the throttle pedal was faulty. The reverse solnoid wasn't getting a signal until the throttle was lightly depressed
