Discussion:
Crown Sp3020 transistor?

I am working on a Crown SP3020-30 serial 1A that has a bad transistor. The problem I am having is that the current transistor on the truck is a mosfet style and my parts guy has told me that they are no longer avaliable. So he ordered me an IGBT style. From the service manual I am able to figure out the wiring for the thermal and gate wires but what I can't figure out is what to do with the white/brown wire that currently goes to the emitter. As of yet I cant find any service info for this. Any help would be greatly appricated.

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
