try ISU insurance in san francisco
State Farm doesn't write commercial liability policies for forklift repair. I had them for years for my personal stuff until I found out the hard way my insurance man was **** me. Don't use them for "commercial" insurance on your work truck either.
I've had 2 agents for State Farm write my "commercial" truck insurance. They both asked the same question- "Do you have employees or customers drive in you truck?" When I answered no- they both wrote the policy. Didn't find out til too late that the policy they had written was in fact not a commercial policy- because they didn't offer it at the time. They paid the claim but proceeded to drop me because "I lied on the application". Erie was the only company I could find that would write me because- as I found out- being dropped by an insurance carrier is a big red flag.
I've been with Erie for about 15 yrs with no regrets- both for my commercial truck policy & my general liability.
Thank you Birdman. Hey, I see you have a picture of a parot, so I'm assuming you collect birds, you not a birdman skydiver are you? I tried the bird suit twice, what a trip.
State Farm Boys have always taken care me, multiple houses/cars/kids etc. I haven't had to compare things with the Geko any way!
Thank you bb, I'll give them a call
I've had Erie insurance for the last 15 years. No problems - very satisified
